The D2731 is a Cross Sliding Vise made of fine-grained cast-iron. It has dovetailed ways with adjustable gibs, steel jaws, and precise longitudinal and cross travel. The fixed jaw includes both horizontal and vertical V-grooves for holding round stock. The base has a sturdy lip on both sides, allowing the vise to be mounted on almost any machine table using common T-slot clamps.
