G5955 Heavy-Duty Hanging Air Filter Effectively eliminate a majority of fine wood particles from the air. The G5955 Heavy-Duty Hanging Air Filter is crafted to capture ambient dust in the air of a woodworking shop shortly after cutting or sanding operations.
Installed on the ceiling, this air filter system has the capacity to purify up to 98% of airborne contaminants without altering the current room temperatures.
A centrifugal fan, commonly known as a "squirrel cage," draws the air through the filter, cleaning it before reintroducing it to the workspace.
The primary filter captures particles up to 5-micron, while the secondary filter is tasked with trapping fine wood particles up to 1-micron from the air.
This air filter can recirculate the air in a room measuring 25' x 25' x 8' approximately six times in an hour. For optimal filtering, it is recommended to recirculate the air in the room 6–8 times per hour.
